How do you use 3M double-sided tape?

The heat from the hairdryer softens the adhesive on the tape, making it easy to remove. Set the hairdryer to the hottest setting and point it close to the tape. After half a minute, check whether the strong double-sided tape is coming off easily. If not, heat the strong double-sided tape further with the hairdryer. Remove any adhesive residue immediately once the strong double-sided tape comes off. This is much easier to do while it is still warm.
