Gloves & Overalls

Metaaltechniek offers a wide range of gloves. From disposable latex gloves to welding gloves and work gloves suitable for use in dry environments, with oil or chemicals. There is a suitable glove for every application.
It is important that a glove has a good fit, is breathable where possible and is comfortable to wear. One reason why gloves are not always worn is the loss of feeling in your hands. We supply gloves that minimise this loss of feeling.
As with other safety equipment, the use of safety gloves must often be encouraged. Wearing comfort and ease of use are important factors in the acceptance and use of PPE.

Codes
Work gloves or assembly gloves must be marked with a code that indicates how the glove protects against mechanical risks. This code consists of 4 digits (ABCD)
A: Abrasion resistance (0 - 4)
B: Cut resistance (0 - 5)
C: Tear resistance (0 - 4)
D: Puncture resistance (0 - 4)
The type of work determines which properties are important for a glove. The coding makes it easy to determine which glove is most suitable for your work.

Brands
Our main brands in the field of gloves are 3M, ATG and Korsar. All three have their own qualities. We are happy to advise you on which gloves may be suitable for you.

Welding gloves
Welding gloves are a separate category of gloves. Available in nappa leather, split leather or cowhide leather.

Type 4: Protection against liquid chemicals (mist-proof)
Type 5: Protection against hazardous dry particles (dust-proof)
