3M Roloc Sanding Disc

3M Roloc Sanding Disc, The professional quick-change sanding system from  3M™, offers a wide range of different sanding products that can be changed with a simple quarter turn, without the use of tools. This effective and easy-to-use system consists of backing discs in various diameters and a specially developed range of sanding products. The Roloc system can only be used with Roloc backing discs.

The name Roloc is a trademark of 3M. Other manufacturers often have a similar system under the name quick-change or quick-release system. The name Roloc therefore mainly refers to the method of clamping.
There are also various options in terms of sanding discs.

Applications: Used with both straight and mini angle grinders, in places where flexibility is important for tasks such as deburring, removing welding material, etc.
5. 3M Scotch-Brite Roloc sanding disc with a reinforced web featuring a Roloc connection.
Applications: Ideally suited for removing scratch marks from fibre discs, cleaning, finishing, removing light rust, discolouration, etc.
6. 3M™ Roloc EXL Unitised abrasive disc: Strong, efficient wheels for cleaning, finishing and deburring larger workpieces.
Applications: Ideally suited for rounding off set and cut edges after using abrasive materials.
7. 3M™ Roloc Bristle abrasive disc: Flexible plastic abrasive brushes incorporating 3M Cubitron™ abrasive minerals. Ideal replacements for steel brushes. Safe and reliable thanks to their unique construction.
Applications: Removal of rust, bitumen, light scratches and burrs, weld discolouration, etc.
8. 3M™ Roloc Clean & Strip abrasive disc: For general work.
Applications: Removal of rust, oxidation, weld discolouration, coatings, old paint layers, cleaning of weld seams, etc. Does not clog.

A number of rubber backing pads in various hardnesses and diameters have been developed for the quick-change system of the various 3M Roloc sanding discs. These backing pads provide optimum support for the product during processing.
