This ergonomically shaped palm eccentric sander fits comfortably in the hand, is lightweight for its type and has an excellent noise level, quieter than many other eccentric sanders. The eccentric sander with model number DY59029H is equipped with a hookit pad with 7 holes for perfect dust extraction. The special drop-in motor ensures that the motor can be easily replaced in case of emergency.

Our 3M™ Elite 150 mm eccentric sander with central dust extraction delivers professional, dust-free performance and a streak-free finish hour after hour, even in high-production industrial environments where dust extraction is required.

Use the 3M™ Elite 150 mm eccentric sander with central dust extraction to optimise the performance of 3M abrasives. Our sanders are equipped with a powerful, perfectly balanced air-driven motor and a durable, lightweight aluminium housing that makes work less tiring. These sanders can be connected to a central dust extraction system or used with an external portable extraction system, such as a canister vacuum cleaner. They feature a threaded connection so you can easily and securely attach and detach a vacuum cleaner hose with a 2.54 mm external thread (sold separately) to significantly reduce dust from the workpiece and the surrounding area. Because the lever sinks into the machine when pressed, the operator's palm cannot get pinched and there are no pressure points. The handles are available in three sizes: the standard handle on the tool has a diameter of 69.85 mm. A handle with a diameter of 63.5 mm and/or 76.2 mm can be purchased separately as required. An extended curved wrist rest reduces strain on the wrist and hand and also provides additional leverage. The rubber handle is equipped with 3M Grip Material, which gives the operator more control and absorbs vibrations at the same time. A durable composite cover extends to the base to reduce vibration and prevent cracks in the housing. An internal silencer protects the operator's hearing, and the convenient thumb-operated speed control reduces the risk of accidental speed changes. Our Elite Random Orbital Sanders optimise sanding and surface preparation on wood, metal, fibreglass and composite materials, as well as a variety of other substrates. These tools, also known as dual action (DA) palm sanders, rotate the sanding disc and sanding pad in two simultaneous overlapping oval patterns. As a result, none of the sanding particles follow the same path twice. This produces a scratch-free finish that can be painted or varnished immediately.
